MMS SDK Components
 
Standard features of MMS SDK Version 3.0 include:
  • MM7 Protocol, offering the ability to send third-party content to mobile subscribers.
  • MMS Library, providing tools to develop MMS-enabled applications based on MM7 protocol.
  • MMS Library API, a Java API with MM7 support, simplifying the development of third-party applications that can send and receive multimedia messages using a multimedia messaging service center (MMSC).
  • MMS Library Authentication and Security, improving message security using HTTP client authentication and SSL protocol.

Messaging Client MMS Capabilities
 
You can now use Openwave® Phone Simulator Version 6.2.2 to validate your MMS content on Openwave-enabled devices. Phone Simulator contains the Openwave® Mobile Messaging Client Version 6.2.2, which allows you to compose, send, receive, view and manage MMS messages.

Openwave operates a live MMSC and is actively recruiting developers to create MMS-enabled applications and services using its standards-based API and SDK. We provide a Java implementation of the MM7 standard, which allows you to deliver MMS messages via any MM7-compliant gateway.
