Openwave® Multimedia Messaging Service Center (MMSC) allows developers to test end-to-end delivery of MMS messages. MMSC currently supports connections from Openwave® Phone Simulator 6.2.2 (using the WAP Simulator plug-in) as well as any GSM device on an open network.
You can send messages to subscribers using the MMSC MM7 (SOAP over HTTP) or MM4 (SMTP) server:
To send messages using MM4, address top subscribers as <phone-number>/TYPE=PLMN@skara.openwave.com.
To send test messages with MM7, use the default credentials for the Openwave MMS Library (16504808000/developer). You can access the MM7 interface at http://skara.openwave.com:8080.
If you wish to receive messages at your application using MM7, you must create a VASP user with its own credentials to register the URL that the application will use.
