Chapter  3: Creating a Dynamic HDML Service

This chapter describes how to create dynamic HDML services. Specifically, it describes how to:

• Set up a dynamic service

• Dynamically generate decks and digests

• Extract UP.Phone, user, and UP.Link server information from HTTP requests

• Invalidate decks in the UP.Phone cache to force the UP.Phone to reload them

• Send faxes on the behalf of UP.Phone subscribers

• Request user preference information, such as the user's time zone preference
