Chapter  1: Introduction to HDML

This chapter introduces the HDML language. It includes a brief overview of HDML syntax and demonstrates how to use HDML statements to build simple HDML services.

The examples in this chapter demonstrate relatively simple ways to use HDML statements. Before you implement a complete HDML interface, be sure to read the user interface guidelines provided in Chapter 8.
