Changing the Home card

The Home card is the card the UP.Simulator displays both on startup and whenever you press the HOME key. In UP.Link mode, the Home card is determined by the UP.Link server you are connecting to; only the UP.Link server administrator can change it. In HTTP direct mode, the Home card is determined by the UP.Simulator setup.

To change the Home card, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Settings>UP.Link Settings.
  2. The UP.Link Settings dialog appears (see Figure 1-2).

  3. Enter the desired URL in the Home URL field and click OK.
  4. You should save the default UP.Link Home URL before modifying this option in case you want to revert to the default setting at a later time. When you click OK, the UP.Simulator displays the URL you specified.

IMPORTANT     Unlike entering a URL in the UP.Simulator Go field (where specifying the http:// prefix is optional), you must include it when you specify a Home URL.
