Installing the UP.SDK on Solaris

To install the UP.SDK on Solaris:

  1. Download the UP.SDK from the UP.Dev Web site.
  2. Put the downloaded .csh file in the directory where you want to install the UP.SDK and execute it.
  3. Respond to any shell script prompts until the installation is complete.

Installing the UP.SDK creates an sdk directory which should be accessible to your Web server. For example, if your Web server supports the ~user URL mapping, you would normally install the UP.SDK files in the ~user/public_html directory.

NOTE     Solaris is the only UNIX platform currently supported by the UP.SDK.
