The UP.SDK

The Phone.com Software Development Kit provides tools for developers who want to create or maintain WML services. The UP.SDK consists of the following:

• The UP.Simulator, a Windows 95/NT application that simulates the behavior of an UP.Phone and makes it easy to test WML services.
• Perl and C library functions that simplify the process of generating WML and handling HTTP requests.
• C++ (Solaris) and COM (Windows) libraries and tools for sending notifications.
• Tools for requesting and installing SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificates.
• Sample WML files and application source code which you can use as a starting point for your own WML services.
